How EditPDFs handles account data and the PDFs you upload. Last updated March 2026.

What we collect

  • Account details you provide (email, name if given) when you sign in or create an account.
  • PDF files you upload for editing, plus language selection and processing status.
  • Basic product usage data (for example feature clicks and error events) to keep the service reliable.
  • Payment and billing metadata from the payment provider when a pack is purchased (we do not store full card numbers on EditPDFs servers).

How we use it

  • To edit your documents and show them in your dashboard.
  • To operate, secure and improve EditPDFs.
  • To respond to support requests sent through the contact channels.
  • To detect abuse of the editor preview and protect service availability.

Your files

  • Uploads are transferred over encrypted connections.
  • Documents remain associated with your account until you delete them from the dashboard.
  • We do not sell documents. See the product FAQ for editor preview and unlock behavior.
  • Retention follows account activity and deletion actions in the dashboard. Closed matters should be removed when no longer needed.

Your rights

  • You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you.
  • You can delete individual documents from the dashboard at any time.
  • Contact privacy@editpdfs.io for privacy requests.
